Be Still Deer

Casey teaches you how to loosely put in the background with a flat brush. You will learn tips such as light pressure making sure to “lift off, lift off, lift off”.  Casey will also instruct you on how to create the dark shadows underneath the loose trees in the background as a result creating depth and dimension…. and of course glitter is added to give this stunning winter scene a little more sparkle!

After this, a stiff fan brush is also used to create the easy evergreen that is heavy with fresh fallen snow! Casey teaches you how to properly load the paint brush to create this effect that eliminates the flatness of the painting.  The deer take just a few simple steps to create the stately focal point of the Be Still Deer Painting!
